yOGA MEDITATION, BREATH, & MUDRA

Explore the subtle gifts available to all. Learn to quiet, focus, utilize the breath and enhance all with the power of yoga for the hands. This class teaches the basics of meditation with various techniques for centering and quieting the mind. These strengths are taught with an attention on the power of the breath for overall health. Hand gestures known as mudras increase awareness as they balance and heal the body and mind. Gentle yoga postures are also practiced for an overall system of well being. This six week class includes:
  • Meditation methods that combine breath and mudra to integrate benefits of yoga for health, balance and overall well being
  • Learn the application of mudra for purpose of increasing the effects of yoga
  • Breathing techniques for everyday use and cultivating dynamic health
